Stuart Henderson - Optometrist
Stuart graduated from Auckland University with a Diploma of Optometry and a Bachelor
Degree of Science. After graduating he became an experienced optometrist working
in Auckland and then Levin before moving to Masterton with the aim of operating as
an independent optometrist supplying high quality vision and eye health to the people
of the Wairarapa.
Stuart has over 20 years experience as an optometrist. He is well skilled in all areas of
optometry including Glaucoma assessment; driver’s licence assessment; optical solutions
for computer; occupational and recreational activities; children’s vision; sports vision
and the diagnosis detection of eye conditions and diseases.
Stuart loves living in the Wairarapa and is well settled here. As a husband and father
Stuart enjoys country living and has a passion for trail bikes and genealogy.

Robyn - Optical Assistant
Robyn is our most experienced Optical Assistant and is the warm, friendly face
behind the front desk.
She is very customer focused and has received specific training to help clients with frame selections, because of her experience is also able to help in many other ways
including contact lens instruction for new contact lens wearers.
Robyn is also responsible for co-ordinating the Diabetic Retinal Screening Programme.
She has completed the Winning Edge Certificate for Optical Staff.

Rose - Optical Assistant
You might recognise Rose as the bright smiley face behind the counter. She is here
to help you with frame selections – finding the best frame to suit both your face and
the lenses you require.
Rose is also the voice you hear on the phone. After you have collected your
glasses Rose will contact you to see how you are getting on.
She is also responsible for computer technology and website maintenance. Rose has also completed the Winning Edge Certificate for Optical Staff.

Nicky - Optical Assistant
Nicky has a wicked sense of humour and never fails to make the staff laugh.
With a broad knowledge of optics Nicky can help you with frame
selection as well as answer any questions you may have.
Nicky is also responsible for creating the window displays and helping with
repairs to frames. Nicky holds an EyePro Certificate for Optical Training.

Nicki - Optical Assistant
Nicki is very much a people’s person, she is very caring and has an amazing ability
to know which frame is right for you.
Nicki is also responsible for much of the frame purchasing.

Diana – Practice Manager
Diana has been the Practice Manager since 2005.
It is Diana’s job to over see the overall operation of the practice and
to come up with new and exciting ideas ensuring our staff offer the
best advice, value, service and support.

Laura – Administration Officer
Laura is our part time administration officer. She has a lively vivacious
personality that works well within our team’s dynamics.
She can be found hidden away upstairs processing day to day invoicing;
accounts payable; stock processing and other administrative duties.
Laura is also responsible for website maintenance with Rose.
